About David Barnett

David became Lead Pastor for New Life Assembly in December 2021. He entered the ministry in September 1984. Prior to NLA, he served in various ministry roles as an associate pastor, Campus Pastor for Chi Alpha at University of North Texas, Executive Director of Feed by Grace, and across the US and internationally in evangelistic ministry. He has also served multiple congregations as interim pastor through their seasons of leadership transition. In addition, David serves in board leadership for several higher education institutions, missions organizations, and compassion ministries of the Assemblies of God. He enjoys developing new ministers as an instructor for the North Texas District School of Ministry.​
