About Julie Barnett

Juliana has been the Worship Pastor for New Life Assembly since December 2021, and she has the privilege of worshiping with some of the most wonderful people in the world! She began her musical journey taking piano lessons at age seven. She has extensive experience as a worship leader, featured soloist, and studio musician. She is also a music educator and has been a choral director and taught private music and vocal pedagogy at secondary and undergraduate levels.

 

She is grateful to have had the opportunity to share the love of Jesus through music evangelism with her family throughout the US, Central and South America, and in Europe. She and her husband David have also enjoyed writing and recording music together.

• Studied Music at the University of North Texas

• Completed Music Studies through Berklee College of Music 

• Earned a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Tarleton State University
